Privacy Policy

The short version
Rotint has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no in-app purchases. Your record is kept on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own Apple Account. The game never asks you for personal data, and so it never collects any.
What the app stores
Your best score and best level, whether you have already seen the tutorial and the first-move hint, the appearance you chose, and — only until it is delivered — a score that could not yet be sent to Game Center.
All of it lives in the standard system storage for app preferences (UserDefaults) on your device. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it.
iCloud
Your best score and best level are also written to Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so that a second device shows the same record. They travel inside your own Apple Account: we have no access to them and no copy of them.
That is two numbers and nothing else. Merging always keeps the higher value, so a device that has been offline cannot roll your record back.
If iCloud is off, or you are signed out, or there is no connection, the game works exactly the same on that device alone.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Apple's Game Center, the game submits the score of each finished game to its leaderboard. That part is handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple's Privacy Policy — we see only the public leaderboard, the same as any other player.
Game Center is entirely optional. If you are not signed in, decline the prompt, or are offline, the game remains fully playable and your local record is kept anyway.
No advertising and no analytics
There is no advertising in Rotint — not on the playing field, not between games, not as a reward, not anywhere. There is no advertising SDK in the app at all.
There is no analytics either: no events, no sessions, no crash-reporting service of our own, no random identifier, no advertising identifier (IDFA) and therefore no “Allow tracking” prompt — there is nothing for it to allow.
If Apple's own aggregated App Analytics is enabled in your system settings, Apple may share anonymous statistics with us as the developer. That is Apple's mechanism, the same for every app on the App Store, and you control it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
What the app does not do
- No accounts, no registration, no email collection
- No advertising and no tracking across apps or websites
- No in-app purchases and no subscriptions
- No notifications
- No access to location services, contacts, photos, microphone or camera
- No data sold, and none of it shared with data brokers
This website
This site uses Yandex Metrica to see how its pages are used, including anonymous recordings of page sessions (Webvisor). That is about visits to this website only — it has nothing to do with what you do inside the game.
Your language choice is remembered in this browser's local storage, so that the site opens in the same language next time. Any tracker blocker stops the analytics, and the site works exactly the same without it.
Offline by design
Every ball, row and cascade is computed on the device: nothing is downloaded, and there is no server behind the game. Rotint needs no network connection to play — the two optional things that use it, iCloud and Game Center, wait for a connection and never block the game.
Children
The game asks for no personal data from anyone, including children. There is no advertising, no analytics and no way to contact other players inside it — the only thing it shows from the outside world is the Game Center leaderboard provided by Apple.
Your data and your rights
We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to hand over or delete on request. What exists is on your device and in your own Apple Account: deleting the app removes the local copy, and data held by Apple through iCloud and Game Center is managed in your Apple Account settings.
If you have a question about any of this, write to us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new date. Changes that affect how data is handled ship together with the app update that introduces them.
