These terms cover your use of the Changelo application for macOS and iOS.
License
Changelo is licensed to you, not sold. You may install and use it on the devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which apply to this app.
What the app does
Changelo compares two files or folders and describes the differences. All processing happens on your device.
The comparison result is an informational description. Some conclusions are heuristic — the app marks these as Likely or Possible rather than Certain. You should not rely on Changelo as the sole basis for decisions where an incorrect conclusion could cause loss or harm; verify important results independently.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for having the right to access the files you compare, and for what you do with exported reports.
You may not attempt to use the app to violate the law or the rights of others.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that every comparison result will be complete or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising out of your use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app changes. The current version is always published on this page with the date at the top.
