Every object on the field follows one rule — the same colours in the same order, the same morphing, the same orbit, the same pulse. One of them breaks it. Watch for a few seconds, then tap the one that doesn't fit.

Always. Each round is validated before it is shown: the odd one has to be visibly different, and to stay that way long enough to be noticed. From the middle levels on, the difference only appears over time — so keep watching instead of scanning.

A complete separate mode with its own progression and its own leaderboards, in which colour is never the difference — only shape, size, orientation, movement, rhythm and sequence. It is available from the main menu at any time.

Check that you are signed in to Game Center in system settings and that you are online. Results earned offline are submitted the next time the game runs with a connection. Game Center is optional: without it the game is fully playable, and local records are kept anyway.

Best scores, longest chains, achievements and settings live on the device itself and are not synced between devices. Deleting the app deletes them. Game Center leaderboards and achievements, on the other hand, belong to your Apple Account and follow you.

Yes. Turn on Reduce Motion in system settings: the game keeps the puzzle but drops the drifting and the flourishes. Sound and haptics have their own switches in the game's Settings, and Dynamic Type and VoiceOver are supported throughout.

No. Rounds are generated on the device and all sound is synthesised in the app. The only thing that ever uses the network is the optional Game Center submission.

By default the game follows your system language. You can also pick any of the 12 supported languages by hand in the game's Settings.
